Handspring in Europe

Handspring announced it will begin selling its line of Visor handheld computers and Springboard expansion modules across Europe. European customers can now buy the family of Visor handhelds in localized versions of International English and German from the European Handspring Web site, with prices starting at 99 Pounds Sterling, 344DM and 175 Euros.

Monopoly used against Palm?

The Department of Justice proposed that Microsoft be split into two companies. In its comments, the DOJ says that Microsoft is using its monopoly power to hurt competitors in the PDA market.

Mobile Portfolio Tracker

Mobile Generation Software announced the release of Mobile Portfolio Tracker, a stock tracking application for the Palm computer. MPT enables users to track their stock portfolios using their Palm III series, Palm V series, Palm VII, or Handspring Visor. Included is the MPT conduit which users install on their PC to receive automatic stock price updates from the Internet each time they HotSync.
