Palm Boulevard reports the publisher of Physicians’ Desk Reference, Thomson Medical Economics, has launched mobilePDR, a free handheld version of the PDR available for the Palm OS. According to the article, by downloading mobilePDR clinicians will be able to research drugs on-rounds, in their office, or at home.=20

Trade up to Treo promotion

Handspring, Inc. announced the “Trade up to Treo” program allowing owners of any existing Visor, Palm OS, or even wireless email-enabled devices, such as a RIM wireless handheld, to receive a rebate for $100 off the purchase of Handspring’s Treo 180 communicator. This promotion is available exclusively from Handspring’s Web site. All current Visor owners will receive the rebate instantly upon purchase of a new Treo communicator, while customers who own another handheld device will receive the same discount through a mail-in rebate form. A complete list of qualifying products can be found on Handspring’s Web site. The trade-up program begins Tuesday, May 7 and runs through Sunday, June 2 and applies to Treo devices purchased either with or without service activation.

Sony PEG-NR70V review
