A new tool that automatically copies event details from Web sites into personal electronic calendars has been developed by TheDateCompany.com. It is provided as a service to Web sites and can be tailored to allow a single event, or a series of events, to be copied with one click.

LandWare Inc announced the availability of the Wine Enthusiast Guide 2002 for Palm OS handhelds. LandWare has teamed with Wine Enthusiast Magazine to produce the mobile companion for choosing, evaluating, managing, and enjoying wine.

Handspring will drop the price of the Visor Pro from $249 to $229 and Visor Neo from $199 to $169. Visor Pro has 16MB of memory and a rechargeable lithium ion battery. Visor Neo is Handspring’s entry-level Visor and comes in three colors: smoke, blue, and red. Both products offer expansion through the Springboard expansion slot.

Handspring, Inc. began selling its new Treo compact communicators at Handspring.com. Treo combines a mobile phone, wireless applications like email, messaging, and Internet browsing, and a Palm OS organizer in one device. U.S. customers can now order the first two editions of Treo–the Treo 180 with a built-in QWERTY keyboard, and the Treo 180g with Graffiti handwriting software, at Handspring.com for $399 when purchased with a GSM service plan from Cingular Wireless or VoiceStream.

ePocrates announced the release of their newest free software application. ePocrates Rx Formulary contains the exact same content and features as their ePocrates Rx drug reference guide with the addition of formulary information from health plans with which you contract. The ePocrates Rx Formulary application only takes up an additional 200K of memory and 12K for every formulary you select.

Captaris, Inc. announced the availability of Infinite Mobile Delivery 2.5. This newest release of Infinite Mobile Delivery software supports Microsoft Exchange 2000, enabling users to leverage their mobile device to access and manage their inbox, calendar, personal contacts, and tasks plus access the Global Address Book. Infinite Mobile Delivery continues to support Exchange 5.5 as well.

Electric Pocket announced that it is a selected partner by Ericsson on PDA Messenger, which is part of Ericsson’s Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) total solution. PDA Messenger enables Palm OS device users to send handwritten notes and sketches as multimedia messages to wireless users who can access MMS message from any MMS enabled terminals, email accounts, and WAP enabled terminals.
