Palm Digital Media will continue to offer Palm Reader and ebooks via Palm.com/ebooks, and through relationships with Palm OS licensees.

The PocketPractitioner Suite of Tools is designed to provide medical practitioners with a fully integrated patient tracking and billing system created by a doctor for use in clinical settings.

Expand Beyond Corporation introduced the release of the company’s PocketAdmin wireless software product for Palm OS platforms at the Oracle AppsWorld show. The PocketAdmin software is designed to give network and system administrators a secure way to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot their networks and servers from Palm OS wireless handheld devices.

Copytalk announced that its beta program for Palm, Inc.’s Palm i705 handheld computer is now open to all i705 owners, expanding on the limited beta program that has been in place since the i705’s launch in January. Copytalk subscribers download and install the free Copytalk software and call Copytalk support to activate the notification service. Then they call Copytalk’s toll free number and dictate naturally, as though leaving a message for a personal assistant. Copytalk transcribes the dictation and notifies the i705, which then retrieves the information from Copytalk.
