New Clie power cable

PN Technologies announced the availability of a new type of Power/Data cable for Sony Clie PDA’s. This cable works with the following Clie’s: PEG-NX70V, PEG-NR70V, PEG-NR70, PEG-T665C, PEG-T665, PEG-T615C, PEG-T415, PEG-SJ30, PEG-SJ20, and PEG-SL10. The cable has a Cigarette Lighter Adapter attached, which powers the Clie. The data cable allows a serial connection to be made to the Clie while powering and operating the unit. This means that a Clie user can operate the Clie with a serial device (GPS, cell phone, etc.) and use the automotive power.

AirClock 2.40 released

AirSpell, LLC announced the release of AirClock Version 2.40, an alarm clock application for Palm OS devices which features remote control capabilities. Leveraging the built-in infrared port of Palm OS handhelds, AirClock can turn on at a specified time any consumer electronics appliance equipped with a remote control. The new version provides ringtone volume increase for a smooth wake-up, support for international date formats, the ability to leave AirClock on while charging, as well as reduced memory consumption.

Shanghai enhanced

LandWare, Inc announced the release of an enhanced version of its Shanghai Pocket Essentials for Palm OS 5 handhelds including the Palm Tungsten T and the Sony CLIE PEG-NX and NZ Series. Shanghai Pocket Essentials has been enhanced to provide life-like tile sets that faithfully reproduce the graphics of Activision’s original desktop classic on Palm OS 5 high-resolution displays.

New Keyspan releases

Keyspan introduced its 7-Way Media Reader and USB BlueTooth Adapter during MacWorld Expo. Keyspan’s 7-Way Media Reader allows any USB-equipped PC to read and write memory cards used by digital cameras, MP3 players, mobile phones, and PDAs. AcidImage 2.4 released

Red Mercury, LLC has announced the release of AcidImage 2.4 with ARM native support and new security features. AcidImage, an image viewer application for Palm OS, runs on all Palm OS handhelds. New security features enable users to manage public and private access to image files and image groups.

TimeReporter 4.0 released

iambic, Inc. unveiled two editions of TimeReporter 4.0, iambic’s time and expense tracking application, available for Windows desktop and Palm OS handheld devices. TimeReporter 4.0 Standard Edition supports Microsoft Access, while TimeReporter 4.0 Professional Edition supports Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. The program is designed to assist the handheld user with billing clients and keeping track of time and expenses. TimeReporter can run on both the Windows desktop and the Palm OS handheld device. The data saved to the desktop can be imported into Quicken, Microsoft Money, Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks Pro, or any other program that accepts text files.

IntelliGolf now ranks among the Top 15 revenue producers on Handango.
