AirSpell, LLC announced the release of AirClock Version 2.40, an alarm clock application for Palm OS devices which features remote control capabilities. Leveraging the built-in infrared port of Palm OS handhelds, AirClock can turn on at a specified time any consumer electronics appliance equipped with a remote control. The new version provides ringtone volume increase for a smooth wake-up, support for international date formats, the ability to leave AirClock on while charging, as well as reduced memory consumption.
