Puma Technology announced that it is partnering with Novell, Inc. to jointly develop Intellisync Anywhere for GroupWise. Puma also announced it will be participating in Brainshare’99 in Salt Lake City, Utah from March 21 to March 26 to demonstrate its Intellisync solutions for GroupWise.

Casio, Inc. introduced the latest version of its Cassiopeia Palm-size PC, model E-15. This new Palm-size PC features 16 MB of memory and retails at the suggested price of $399. It will begin shipping in April.

We’re experiencing a lovely winter storm here in the north Eastern portion of the US. Courtesy of Mother Nature’s storm, our building (and presumably the surrounding community) lost power for the period of late Sunday evening through about 8AM Monday morning. Our UPSs tried valiantly to keep the servers running, but they weren’t able to soldier through an eight hour power failure. Our systems are now back up, but since there’s more snow in the forecast, there’s always the chance of further downtimes in the next 24 hours.

FMSync Software announced FMSync for JFile, a software product that connects FileMaker Pro for Macintosh to the Palm Computing platform. FMSync for JFile acts as a two-way conduit between FileMaker Pro for Mac and JFile.
