BSquare announced that it has shipped software to Hewlett-Packard Company and Philips for inclusion on their Palm-size PC devices. The HP Jornada 420 Palm-size PCs are currently shipping with BSQUARE’s bTASK device management program, and the Philips’ Nino 500 series palm-size PCs will ship with bTASK, bFAX Express, and bPRINT software programs during the second quarter of this year.

Vadem announced that its ParaGraph division will provide its CalliGrapher 5.2 natural handwriting recognition software as a standard feature for the Nino 500 series and future palm-size PCs manufactured by Philips.

The kit is intended for VARs, OEMs and integrators who want to create high-performance mobile data collection solutions based on Microsoft Windows technology.
