PC Week has this story on 3Com’s plans to reorganize its desktop products under a new Business Connectivity Group and Residential Connectivity Group.

TeleType announced the availability of TeleType GPS v0499, which supports the new color Palm-sized PC’s including those manufactured by Everex, Casio, and Hewlett-Packard. The new version supports the StrongArm chip as well as the MIPS and SH3 chip set. The TeleType GPS software records, tracks, and transmits position worldwide with automatic map display. The software includes street maps for the U.S.A. with option to purchase maps for other countries.
