Taco Bell has selected Thinque Systems to test Merchandising Sales Portfolio, the Windows CE-based software, as the field automation solution to automate their mystery shopping field personnel.

Ilium Software announces a new product, TapeMinder, for Handheld, Palm-size and Desktop PCs. TapeMinder organizes videotape and program information in addition to giving reminders of upcoming programs to record. TapeMinder can be used on the Palm-size or Handheld PC by itself, or its information can be synchronized with the optional desktop add-on.

Microsoft and Spyglass have announced that Spyglass signed a 3-year deal with Microsoft to help develop and integrate Internet-ready applications for Windows CE device manufacturers. News.com has the details on this agreement.
