The Tokheim millennium dispenser displayed normal fuel pump operations via an integrated 10.4 inch touch screen display featuring a web browser-based graphical user interface.

Information covers such areas as attractions, dining, fine arts, hotels, nightlife, recreation, resources, services, shopping and transport, plus basic travel data such as language, currency and other details via a feature called “City Scan.”

3Com Corporation and NTT Mobile Communications Network announced a strategic technical and business alliance to develop new wireless services for the Palm Computing Platform. Plans include creating and developing solutions and services to expand the usage of Palm Computing platform devices over wireless networks in Japan.
