Slate Magazine and AvantGo announced that they have teamed up to deliver personalized content from Slate to readers who use handheld devices and AvantGo.com. With AvantGo.com, readers of Slate can now keep abreast of the magazine’s latest political and cultural news from their handheld devices.

BarPoint.com has partnered with JP Systems’ InfoBeam for the timely delivery of product pricing, purchase and other information over wireless communications devices in a service to debut this fall. This partnership allows mobile users to type or scan product UPC barcodes into a handheld device to wirelessly access BarPoint.com. The 12-digit UPC code can be entered manually on standard Palm OS and Windows CE devices, or can be scanned in handheld devices such as the SPT 1500 manufactured by Symbol Technologies.

JetForm Corporation announced the availability of a Japanese version of JetForm Pocket Form 4.0, a mobile electronic-form solution for enterprises adopting Microsoft Windows CE.
