BarPoint.com has partnered with <A HREF="http://www.jpsystems.com/">JP Systems' InfoBeam</A> for the timely delivery of product pricing, purchase and other information over wireless communications devices in a service to debut this fall. This partnership allows mobile users to type or scan product UPC barcodes into a handheld device to wirelessly access BarPoint.com. The 12-digit UPC code can be entered manually on standard Palm OS and Windows CE devices, or can be scanned in handheld devices such as the SPT 1500 manufactured by Symbol Technologies.
