Intelligraphics announced the availability of a new Windows CE multi-monitor display driver that will allow multiple displays to be operated off of a single system. The multi-monitor display driver is a hardware independent driver that supports up to eight separate PCI display devices. The multi-monitor driver supports both CRT and LCD display devices in any configuration.

Socket Communications disclosed its plans to enter the cordless computing market by announcing an agreement with Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) whereby CSR will supply Socket with BlueCore, a chip to combine all the elements of the Bluetooth short-range wireless interconnect standard on a single die.

Hewlett-Packard Company and Socket Communications announced a collaborative effort to support the upcoming Bluetooth technology for short-range wireless networking. HP and Socket will work closely together to ensure that Socket’s upcoming line of Bluetooth-enabled single and multifunction CompactFlash CF+ plug-in cards are compatible with the HP Jornada family of handheld PCs.

Communication Intelligence Corporation (CIC) announced that it released a new version of Sign-it 2.0 with support for Palm handheld devices. Sign-it 2.0 provides enterprise customers with a solution for secure electronic document approval and on-line transactions within Adobe Acrobat 4.0.

Eba Systems announced availability of the eBusiness Anywhere Server. The eBusiness Anywhere Server provides access to Sales Force Automation (SFA) systems for corporations with users of Palm Computing platform wireless products including the Palm VII connected organizer and Qualcomm’s pdQ smartphone.

XTNDConnect Server 2.3 provides synchronization of e-mail, contacts, calendar and tasks between multiple handheld devices, including Palm Computing and Windows CE, and Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes/Domino servers.

GroupServe launched the wireless Palm device version of its Web discussion service, GroupVine, Friday, while versions for Nokia Communicator, and Windows CE Pocket Internet Explorer will be available later this week.
