Wireless WebSphere

InfoWorld has an article saying IBM announced a more wireless-friendly version of its WebSphere software. According to the article, IBM intends for the WebSphere platform to be able to translate Internet content into a form readable by a number of handheld devices, including some cell phones and PDAs.

Server upgrade complete

We successfully completed our server hardware upgrade yesterday with a minimum of fuss. Thanks to everyone for their patience in accessing the server. Now that our hardware’s been upgraded (this is our quarterly scheduled upgrade), we’re getting ready to make some changes to our software systems and sites. New greyscale iPAQ

CEcity reports Compaq has officially announced a greyscale version of the iPAQ, the iPAQ H3100. According to the article, the H3100 is slightly lighter and has only half the memory of the H3600. It won’t be immediately available in North America.
