TealPoint Software announced the release of TealTools, a popup collection of six desk accessories. The package includes a calculator, clock/stopwatch, preferences panel, editing panel, memo pad, and a file and backup manager. It also includes a simple popup launcher hack.

ThinAirApps, Inc. announced that it will provide Extended Systems with a wireless Internet platform that provides secure, real-time access to data from wireless devices. Extended Systems plans to integrate the technology into its XTNDConnect mobile data synchronization and management product offering, geared toward enterprises deploying mobile applications. Third version of in-car software

CNET News.com reports Microsoft unveiled the third version of its Windows CE for Automotive software. According to the article, the new version of Windows CE for Automotive could be used to control a variety of devices–everything from a simple, push-button cellular service system such as GM’s OnStar, up to an in-dash computer that also controls video entertainment systems for passengers.
