SoDeog joins Ericsson

SoDeog Technologies, Inc. announced a worldwide partnership agreement with Ericsson in which SoDeog, the developer of SyncTalk software, will become an Ericsson Business Ally Partner. As an Ericsson partner, SoDeog will develop SyncTalk solutions that support existing and future Ericsson technologies. Specifically, SoDeog will focus on enabling Ericsson’s smartphones and communicator platform to seamlessly share information with most other handheld devices like PDAs, smartphones, and pagers.

Solving Bluetooth’s problems

eWEEK reports that Intersil Corp. and Silicon Wave Inc. are working together to solve one of a radio frequency problem facing Bluetooth technology. The radio frequency on which Bluetooth operates is the same one used by wireless LANs. According to the article, when an 802.11 connection collides with a Bluetooth connection, transmission errors often occur.
