Software developer SplashData recently introduced version 4.0 of SplashID for the Windows Mobile and BlackBerry platform. This edition of the application, which is for securely organizing and managing passwords, user names and other sensitive records on a mobile device, is already available for the Palm OS. SplashID 4’s Windows desktop companion software has also received a major update, including Web Auto-Fill, simplifying data entry of user names and passwords in SplashID by using a web browser to go directly to a site and retrieving the username and password to auto-fill in the record.
