Skype Recorder is a surprisingly easy-to-use tool for recording Skype audio conversations. Skype Recorder can record Skype calls automatically. The software has a number of additional handy features such as an automatic record encoding into MP3/WMA/OGG/WAV format, all Skype versions support, conversations in either single or dual audio track recording, hidden mode work, a built-in audio player, a built-in FTP-client and an easy-going interface. Lexar Media announced its line of Crucial solid state drives. Crucial SSDs are more durable, require less power, and offer greater overall system performance than traditional hard disk drives. The SSDs will be available in capacities of 32GB and 64GB in an industry standard 2.5-inch drive enclosure with an industry-leading native SATA 3.0Gb/s interface. Additionally, Lexar Media will offer the Crucial SK01 external drive kit and various online customer tools–including the Crucial SSD Advisor tool.

SanDisk announced Cruzer Titanium Plus, a USB flash drive that offers automatic online backup for every file copied to the drive, giving users true peace of mind. Cruzer Titanium Plus, with a capacity of four gigabytes, is the first flash memory product from SanDisk to offer online backup. Users get the best of both worlds, with access online and offline: Data is always available when Cruzer Titanium Plus is plugged into any computer. Users also get quick access to their backed-up files through any computer connected to the Internet, should they forget to bring the drive with them, or if the drive is lost or stolen.

SpaceTime Mathematics announced a significant update to SpaceTime 3.0 with the launch of their brand new Web site. SpaceTime 3.0 now offers powerful GUI functions like Scroll to easily create interactive controls.

inDev Software has released a new game exclusively for Palm OS devices. inCubus is billed by its developer as a “simple but addictive logical game which will explode your mind!” The game combines elements from Bejeweled, Tetris and Color Lines to create an intriguing and unique new puzzle contest. There are three different game types and user selectable diffuctulty levels and point goals.

Airlines and service providers seeking to deliver high-speed Internet services to passengers say they’ve learned from Boeing’s 2006 decision to pull the plug on its ambitions to outfit its planes with a similar service. Analysts say Boeing’s failed Connexion online service was costly to install and operate, resulting in large expenditures before getting a single paying customer. An industrywide downturn triggered by the 2001 terrorist attacks made the system an even tougher sell to struggling airlines.

Among other things, JetBlue Airways, American Airlines, and Virgin America are today turning to air-to-ground connections to avoid Boeing’s expensive satellite fees.

The Palm OS skinning software, PalmRevolt, has just seen its first update in some time. PalmRevolt enables you to customize the Palm OS interface so you can give your Treo the Cobalt look it always wanted or choose among the excellent skin selections over at 3GX’s site. You can even create your own custom look with an original skin. The latest updates include a significant performance improvement, better support for one-handed navigation, skin compression, ability to change the “blue halo” highlighting color, color editing and numerous bug fixes.

Mark/Space has released a new version of the Missing Sync for Palm OS. This update primarily brings compatibility with Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard). Additional updates include Palm Centro support, contact and calendar synchronization improvements and a number of bug fixes. The new version is free to version 6 customers.

The Missing Sync for Palm OS provides Mac OS synchronization for most Palm OS devices. It works as a replacement to the Palm desktop application and HotSync Manager and includes a number of additional tools and services including iTunes & iPhoto syncing and a video conduit and encoder.
