Agendus for Palm v12.03

The functionality of Agendus for Palm OS Version 12 has been expanded to include powerful journaling capabilities, a personal project manager, all new “at-a-glance” or Card views now more colorfully organized and streamlined, a new Contact View “Photo Dialer” mode, support for attaching items (documents, images, etc.) to meetings, tasks, memos and contacts and standalone alarms, just to name a few.

Version 12.03 is a maintenance release which reflects the feedback received through our user community, it brings in various functionality and stability improvements.

RingCare Mobile for Palm OS

RingCare from GoTreo Software has recently received a number of updates. RingCare Mobile is a ringtone management solution that allows you to use MP3s and midi tones for incoming phone calls, text messages and voicemail. It allows you to assign unique ringtones to each contact, phone number, company name and/or contact category. The app also has partial support for Goodlink users. This update and previous ones contain a few tweaks and address small bugfixes.

WM6 for the HTC P3300

If you happen to have an HTC P3300 in your arsenal, log into HTC eClub and grab your free Windows Mobile 6 Professional upgrade. It’s designed to be used with the HTC version of the Artemis only, so if you own another version, it’s best to poke your carrier/vendor to see where they stand.

Opera 8.65 released

Opera, one of the better Web browsers for Windows Mobile; even better, the company keeps on updating it. Version 8.65 was released last week, and features a host of small improvements, including a new skin, better desktop rendering support, “grab and scroll”, and more.

Astraware boardgame suite

Astraware has released a new mobile game title, Astraware Boardgames, a collection of 8 classic boardgames including Chess, Backgammon, Reversi and more. Astraware Boardgames includes 8 games, each with user-customizable rules and a range of difficulty levels, but designed with casual players and non-experts in mind.

The full game lineup includes Chess, Backgammon, Ludo, Checkers, Reversi, Nine Men’s Morris, Snakes and Ladders, and Tic Tac Toe. Each game offers 3 levels of gameplay that everyone can enjoy, even complete beginners. The games also feature two player modes or solo against the computer all with customizable options and rules. AT&T releases the Tilt

AT&T has announced that the AT&T Tilt will debut exclusively through AT&T beginning Friday, Oct. 5. The AT&T Tilt is the first AT&T-enabled Windows Mobile 6 smart device and features an innovative slide-out QWERTY keypad design, a 3-megapixel camera, 3G data speeds from AT&T’s UMTS/HSDPA-based BroadbandConnect network and complete global connectivity. Designed by HTC, the AT&T Tilt features a 2.8-inch color screen that slides back to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, then tilts up to position the screen perfectly for reading and creating email, browsing online, using applications or just playing videos and games. The AT&T Tilt supports Bluetooth 2.0, which allows for up to six Bluetooth devices to be wirelessly connected simultaneously to the device and also supports Bluetooth Stereo.
