Heat wave

We’re experiencing some severe heat wave weather here in the northeastern portion of the United States. As a result, we’ve been experiencing intermittent, rolling brownouts. Our secondary domain name server was down for a while on Monday (although our main Web server, mail server, and DNS have been rock solid throughout due to our extensive power reserve). While we don’t expect any primary systems to suffer, if you do experience difficulty accessing our services, please just try back later. And stay cool!

Pogue 2.0

David Pogue’s back with a second edition of his “PalmPilot: The Ultimate Guide”, forever relegating his first edition to “penultimate” status. If you had to look up “penultimate” like we did, it means “next to the last”. Since the first edition was pretty darn good, we expect this release to be good reading.

Apparently, this is in addition to the Palm.Net service recently announced with the Palm VII device. In part, the article says, Palm’s planning this in response to Microsoft’s MSN Mobile initiative and Yahoo’s plans to “mobilize” aspects of their content.
