InstallShield, TechData agreement

InstallShield Software announced that the company has entered into a distribution agreement with Tech Data Corp. Tech Data will enable InstallShield to consolidate sales and support for InstallShield Professional, InstallShield Express, DemoShield, InstallShield Java Edition, InstallFromTheWeb and InstallShield for Windows CE.

NS BASIC Corporation reports that NS Basic/CE 2.1 is now shipping. It features over three dozen enhancements, changes and fixes. The upgrade is free to licenced users of NS Basic/CE 2.0. Users of NS Basic/CE 1.x can upgrade for just $39.95. NS Basic/CE 2.1 is a BASIC development environment that runs completely on a Windows CE device.

Forbes is Audible

Forbes magazine and Audible announced an agreement that will result in the delivery of audio versions of selected content from Forbes Magazine to listeners via the World Wide Web. Users will be able to listen to Forbes stories at their personal computers, or away from their PCs with any number of AudibleReady mobile devices, such as new PC companions powered by Microsoft’s Windows CE operating system, as well as the forthcoming Rio 500 digital audio player.
