Palm VII converter

ANADIGICS announced today that its DC/DC converter has been designed into the Palm VII connected organizer. Manufactured using GaAs MESFET technology, the ANADIGICS DC/DC converter operates at high frequencies, which allows overall size of the device to be reduced.

Album To Go

Club Photo today launched Album To Go, a software package for Palm device users who want to exchange photos or other digital images while away from their desks. The new software lets users organize and annotate images, load and display them on a Palm device in four or 16 shades of gray, or beam the images directly to other wireless Palm devices. Features include “slide shows” with screen wipes, fades, scrolls, and other special effects. The software, only available for the Palm Computing platform at this time, can be downloaded at no charge.

Palm, PeopleSoft team up

PeopleSoft and Palm Computing announced an alliance to deliver PeopleSoft enterprise applications for e-business on the Palm Computing platform. The first in a series of applications being developed to extend PeopleSoft applications to the Palm Computing platform is PeopleSoft Expenses, which will allow mobile professionals to record and manage business expenses.
