AutoPC additions

Clarion Sales Corporation has selected ORA Electronics to offer a USB-controlled cellular cradle, along with InfoGation Corporation’s PhoneBase application software, for Nokia phones for the Clarion AutoPC. The ORA Electronics USB TelCar Mark VII, when combined with the included InfoGation PhoneBase software, will allow users to dock their phones and control it with voice-activated dialing and hands-free access via the AutoPC.

Electronic Buyers’ News reports that Atmel will expand its wireless chip business by announcing products that support the Bluetooth standard. The article says that Atmel will sell a complete reference design kit, which consists of the company’s own, internally developed components.

Finding of fact

In case you haven’t heard, Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson handed down his findings of fact statement. The statement was a blow to Microsoft because Judge Jackson found that Microsoft had a monopoly and abused that power.

Xchange Lynx Remote

JAS Concepts announce the availability of the Xchange Lynx Remote for Windows CE (XLR:CE). The XLR:CE works in conjunction with the Xchange Lynx Server. The support for Windows CE allows the mobile device to communicate directly over existing Internet, Wireless or Dialup to the Xchange Lynx Server.
