LAPUG meets tomorrow

The next meeting of the Los Angeles Palm User Group will be on Saturday, October 13th at Border’s Books & Music at 1360 Westwood Blvd. It’s just a couple of blocks north of Santa Monica Blvd. They’ll be upstairs in a meeting area located within the Music Department – close to the Coffee Shop. The meeting will start at 10:30am. The October meeting will feature Lorin Wiener of SharperMinds Software and author of About-Face.

Chicago gets coding!

The next meeting of the Chicago Palm Programmers Group is Wednesday, October 17th. Aaron Vesperman will present on his experience developing the Springboard Module for the The Vezmen Project, a top ten winner in the “Cool Module Design Contest” sponsored by Xilinx, Handspring and Portable Design Magazine. Karen Jeffrey will also be finishing up her Java Conduit talk from last month. The meeting will be on Wednesday, October 17th at 6:30 pm. They’ll meet at DePaul University’s loop campus in room 436a of the CS&T building at 243 South Wabash (the corner of Jackson and Wabash). It sounds like fun, since the organizers have asked us to tell you to leave plenty of time to eat pizza and chat.
