MARGI Systems announced a Presenter-to-Go SD Card solution for the Palm Tungsten T handheld. MARGI Presenter-to-Go SD allows presentations created in PowerPoint or any printable PC application to be transferred directly to the Palm Tungsten T handheld and displayed via a digital projector in full-color 1024 x 768 resolution.

nReach announced it has formed a long-term distribution partnership with SimpleTech, Inc., a manufacturer of flash-based data storage solutions, to mutually introduce their complimentary products into new retail environments. Under the terms of the agreement, nReach will provide retail space for SimpleTech

Chapura, Inc. announced that PocketMirror Standard software is included with the new Palm Tungsten T handhelds. PocketMirror Standard will synchronize the Outlook Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes with the Palm Date Book, Address Book, To Do List, and Memo Pad. It allows multiple handhelds to synchronize to the same Outlook profile, and you can synchronize to the same Exchange Server folders from any PC connected to the server.

Palm, Inc. introduced the Palm Tungsten W handheld, the first Palm branded integrated GSM/GPRS wireless handheld with a built-in keyboard, one-handed navigation, and a high-resolution color screen. With carrier activation, the Palm Tungsten W handheld is designed to provide a combination of wireless email, SMS messaging, phone functionality, business applications, and Palm’s Personal Information Management (PIM) software. Palm also announced business alliances with four key carriers from around the world, including AT&T Wireless, Rogers AT&T Wireless, Vodafone, and SingTel.

Palm, Inc. introduced the Palm Tungsten T handheld. It has a high-resolution 320×320 color display and integrated Bluetooth wireless communication capabilities. The Palm Tungsten T handheld features a slider design, 5-way navigation, and one-touch voice recording. The navigation and application buttons reside on the new “slider,” which glides open when users need to input data using Palm’s Graffiti alphabet. For simply viewing and navigating information the slider can remain closed, leaving the device in its most compact state. The new one-handed 5-way navigator activates up, down, left and right, and select.

Handspring, Inc. announced new pricing on its grayscale Treo 180 and 180g communicators. While supplies last, customers can purchase a Treo 180 for $249 when they sign up for a service contract from T-Mobile or Cingular.

Palm, Inc. announced the Palm Ultra-Thin Keyboard, along with a series of sleek new cases for Palm Tungsten handhelds. The Palm Ultra-Thin Keyboard features an aluminum design that is 30 percent lighter and half the thickness of the previous Palm Portable Keyboard. The compact case unfolds to a standard QWERTY keyboard, with 18mm key spacing and 3mm key travel. The Palm Ultra-Thin Keyboard is rigid enough when open to use on a lap or other uneven surface.
