Internet.com Asia reports that Thin Multimedia has launched a new mobile video Download & Store service with the help of South Korea-based SK Telecom specifically designed for their Palm-based wireless network. Subscribers will be able to tap into content such as movie trailers, music videos, and animation.

Handspring, Cingular support GoodLink 2.0

Good Technology announced that Handspring and Cingular will support its newly released GoodLink 2.0 real-time synchronized system designed to work with enterprise platforms like Microsoft Exchange. According to InternetNews.com, Handspring will use GoodLink 2.0 will work on Handspring Treo 600.

McDonald’s continued its quest for providing wireless Internet access and took the wrapping off of its latest batch of hotspots in the San Francisco Bay area. The fast food chain has been offering wireless Web access at 10 restaurants in New York City, is expanding the pilot program to dozens more restaurants in the Bay Area.

Datastick and Oceana

Datastick Systems, Inc. and Oceana Sensor Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of OEM vibration sensors and smart, wireless sensing systems for machinery health monitoring, have developed a software interface exclusively for Oceana, which utilizes the Palm OS Bluetooth extensions for communication with Oceana Sensor’s Wireless e-Diagnostics System Products. As a result of the software interface both companies announce an addition to the Datastick Connection suite of software products, Datastick Connection Wave BT for ICHM is the first software to display FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) spectra on Bluetooth enabled Palm handhelds.
