
Palm Computing announced the shipment of the Palm MacPac version 2 connectivity kit for Macintosh users of the Palm Computing platform. The product includes the Palm Desktop software 2.1. The Palm MacPac version 2 is available for an USD$14.95.

Compaq announced it is shipping its new handheld device based on Windows CE, the Aero 2100. The Aero 2100 will feature a reflective 256 color display, 8MB of memory, 4 customizable launch buttons, left-hand scroll bar, voice recording with integrated microphone and speaker, and lithium ion battery capable of 10 hours of battery life.
