The AlphaCONNECT Internet division of AlphaServ.com has developed a new capability for its soon-to-be-released Network Query Language (NQL) that leverages the mobility of the Palm VII. Programmers using the language will be able to create and deploy intelligent agent-based applications from a Palm VII mobile computing device. River Run Software announced a new feature in their River Run MobileSuite for Domino product. The new feature converts any Lotus Notes application into a Visual Basic (VB) application that runs on Microsoft Windows CE-based handheld devices.

Nettech Systems announced that TrackYourTruck.com has signed an agreement to OEM Nettech’s mobile middleware. The partnership will enable the delivery of Web-based dispatch information to Palm Computing Organizers in TrackYourTruck.com’s Roadrunner mobile data solution, which is marketed to product delivery businesses.

Certicom announced MobileTrust, a digital certificate service that enables Palm Computing handheld computers, WAP phones, RIM wireless handhelds and other small form factor devices to perform secure stock trades, online banking, email and other business and e-commerce transactions.
