devSoft Inc. has added a prize to the NS Basic/CE Programming Contest in a new category. The winner of the Best Net Program will get the complete IP*Works! Internet Toolkit – ActiveX Edition, all supported processors, worth $3,500.00 USD. Entrants must use the free tools from devSoft in The Big Red Toolbox to build their application with NS Basic/CE.The deadline for entries is midnight EST, February 14th, 2000.

We like to warn you of incidents of spamming by well-known companies. In this case, E*Trade, the online brokerage firm, spammed us with an offer to purchase a 400Mhz, 32MB Celeron machine with a rebate if we signed up to their service. As always, we don’t appreciate spamming and were especially disappointed that the PC E*Trade was promoting was so clearly last year’s configuration.

Solvepoint Corporation announced that the Solvepoint Palmdock V is now available on pdamart. The Palmdock V enables your Palm V to use Palm III accessories, including the Go-Type keyboard and Palm III modem.
