netLibrary has signed an agreement to acquire peanutpress.com, a distributor of literature for reading on handheld computing devices including the Palm Computing platform, Handspring Visor, and devices based on the Windows CE operating system.

Mediconsult.com announced the immediate availability of eight fitness and nutrition applications designed to expand the health-management capabilities of Palm Computing platform handheld computers. In addition, four of the applications work on earlier versions of the Palm Computing devices.

ezlogin.com announced that its Personal Summary service now supports Palm VII handheld computers from Palm Computing. The service allows wireless users to view their current account information from third-party Web sites.
