Yahoo has a press release from Microsoft and Bosch announcing a strategic alliance to create a comprehensive family of in-vehicle computing and communicating products, including navigation and telematics (wireless data delivery) devices based on the Microsoft Windows CE for Automotive software platform.

devSoft Inc. announced the final release of IP*Works! V4 ASP Edition, a special version of IP*Works!, especially designed and optimized for Active Server Page programming. The package includes 30 components, the standard IP*Works! components, plus higher level components such as WebUpload, WebForm, FileMailer, TraceRoute, etc.

J-OS IV released

Hacker Dude-San’s J-OS IV has been released as a complete product. This new version of the add-on Japanese language operating system for the Palm device works with the latest version (3.5) of the Palm OS including Palm Vx, Palm IIIc, and Sony CLIE. It’s available from Arkusa.

Wireless solutions for Visor

Handspring, Inc. and a number of Springboard module developers will introduce several wireless solutions for the Visor handheld computer at the GlobalXChange exhibition in Chicago. According to the press release, this new generation of wireless-enabled Springboard modules will bring new voice and data communications capabilities to the Springboard platform.
