
Palm, Inc. launched the Palm Mobile Internet Kit in Europe, its first product enabling European Palm handheld computer users to connect wirelessly to the Internet using a GSM mobile phone.

Mobile Media Group AB announced the general availability of mApplicator, which is designed to help operators, content providers, and product and solutions providers to create full-fledged mobile portal service for their business.

AsiaBizTech has an article on Palm’s plans to launch a Web clipping service in Japan by June 2001. According to the article, Palm also plans to begin marketing a version of their handheld that supports wireless packet data transmissions.
