First there was the cookie that could be erased, along with the data it held. Then there was the Evercookie that rebuilt itself if you dared erase it. Now Anonymizer, Inc. is offering a plugin for Firefox called Anonymizer Nevercookie that can destroy Evercookies.

Lamebook, started in April 2009, lets people post funny things from Facebook. Facebook got tired of the parody and started a suit. Not wanting the case to be moved out of Texas, Lamebook filed against Facebook.

As a user, you can put information into Facebook but you can’t get it out. That’s, apparently, reserved for Facebook’s advertisers. Google has apparently gotten tired of supporting this one-way feed and is now blocking Facebook from importing information from Gmail.

The clarity of E Ink displays is not matched by current back-lit computer screens. But creating a multi-color E Ink display has been difficult. Now, Hanvon Technology is expected to release a color E Ink e-reader by March 2011.
