Android App with Free Calling to 57 Countries

Comwave has released their Mobile App for the Android OS. For a low yearly charge, you can make long distance calls using your Android Smartphone to people in any of 57 countries. Comwave also offers an app for the iPhone.

Saudi prince buys $300m sliver of Twitter

With some analysts claiming Twitter is worth $10 billion, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal decided to invest. Alwaleed, with Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), has purchased approximately 3 percent of the company.

Facebook is suing Mark Zuckerberg

Rotem Guez, of Israel, has had a continuing disagreement with Facebook. After the last round of disputes, Mr. Guez legally changed his name to Mark Zuckerberg. So. Yes. Facebook is now pondering whether to sue Mark Zuckerberg.

How HP and open source can save WebOS

Hewlett-Packard plans to open-source webOS, apparently hoping someone else will do the hard work of keeping it going. If HP is willing to invest in the operating system, it has a good future, if they hope casual contributors will do all the work, the project is effectively dead.

Security Firm Claims Google Is Conspiring To Kill Off Firefox

A recent study claimed Google’s Chrome was more secure than Firefox. There’s only one problem. Google paid for the survey. NSS Labs claims the “study” was flawed and the results are suspect.
