New cards from Xircom

Xircom announced that it is broadening its CompactCard family of Windows CE solutions to include 56K Modem and wireless GSM technologies. Xircom is now shipping the CompactCard Modem56 GlobalACCESS (CFM56G) and CompactCard GSM (CFGSM), in addition to the currently available CompactCard Ethernet 10 (CFE-10BT).

AvantGo for Mac

AvantGo debuted AvantGo.com for the Apple Macintosh platform. AvantGo.com will be available free of charge beginning in March to users of Apple PowerPC-based computers, such as the iMac, PowerMac G3 and G4, and the iBook, and it requires Palm Computing’s HotSync Manager.

PocketMail BackFlip

PocketScience announced the availability of their latest mobile email device, the PocketMail BackFlip. This new device provides a mobile email solution for the Palm Computing platform. The PocketMail BackFlip is a small hardware device that snaps on to the back of the Palm organizer. It allows users to send and receive email or fax messages from any landline or wireless phone.
