Vindigo announced the Beta launch of its “Vindigo Instant Offers” mobile advertising program in New York City. The 10 week program, which began August 1st, enables consumers to take advantage of exclusive promotions from national and local merchants offered only to Vindigo users via the Vindigo service.

Mobile Generation Software announced that the MobileDB platform has officially become the number one content database. According to the press release, over 400 MobileDB databases were submitted to the PalmOS content archive at MemoWare.com.

Unlike our night-owl editors, ZDNet didn’t get their article on the new Palm devices out until 10:13 AM PT. They’re also still using the incorrect form, M100 with the erroneous capital M.

Our friends at Pen Computing have pointed out that their Palm editor, Shawn Barnett, also released an equally early and detailed Palm m100 review at last night’s magic hour.

The Palm VIIx also has its own press release noting its 8MB of memory and 40 bundled Web clipping applications.

The Palm m100 has garnered its own separate press release that touts the device’s “hip style” and “easy-to-use applications.” The release says that third-party companies such as Kodak, Northstar Systems, and Singapore Shinei Sangyo Pte Ltd. have announced support of the Palm m100 handheld through snap-on cameras, backup modules, MP3 players and modems.

The announcement also notes that each of the new products premieres alongside a suite of accessories and hardware snap-ons and points out that customers who purchase new products between now and September 30 are eligible to receive the free Road Scholar CD.

Palm has their new fall line up on display at their site. This includes the Palm m100, the Palm VIIx, and the Palm Vx Limited Edition, available in millenium blue and champagne metallic finishes.
