Palm, Inc. announced it will host PalmSource conference 2000, its fourth annual conference for the Palm OS platform, from December 12-15 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. PalmSource conference 2000 will provide attendees with platform technology presentations, industry perspectives, Palm and licensee product showcases, interactive labs, and keynote addresses.

Morningstar.com has an article on how stocks for Research in Motion, Palm, and Handspring have jumped 85%, 52%, and 138%, respectively. AAA wireless dispatch

AAA (American Automobile Association) has entered into a preferred supplier agreement with BellSouth Wireless Data for wireless communication over the nationwide BellSouth Intelligent Wireless NetworkSM. The solutions combine AAA’s D2000 proprietary call management system for digital data dispatch over the nationwide BellSouth Intelligent Wireless Network with mobile data computers (MDCs) and RIM 950 Wireless Handhelds.
