.H1 PDA wanted
I’m looking at getting a PDA of some sort, but I haven’t seen any info on my number one priority: software to allow hooking into the diagnostics port of a car computer and reading off the engine parameters, error codes and the like. I know there are programs out there for laptops, but I have no clue about PDAs. I’m especially interested in NISSAN compatible software. I’m sure I can’t be the first person to think of this. Can you help me out?
Thanks,
Andy Clark

We’ve run a number of articles on the AutoPC in Windows CE Power. Visit them at http://www.zatz.com/authors/authorpages/markmoeller.html. While these aren’t exactly what you’re looking for, they’re the closest we’ve run. It’s probably also a good idea to visit Mark Moeller’s site at http://www.autopcware.com.
Sometimes it’s useful to ask our knowledgeable community of readers when we get a question like this. If any of our readers know more about auto diagnostics and PDAs, please let us know so we can pass your response on to Mr. Clark, and publish it in a future issue. And hey, if anyone wants to develop one, be sure to let us know about that, too.
