July’s PalmPower Site of the Month is actually two sites, but they work together to service two big PDA user segments. The first is PDAJD.com, found at http://www.pdajd.com. This site provides PDA news, reviews, tips, and tutorials for members of the legal community. Its sister site, PDAMD.com, does the same thing for members of the healthcare community. It’s found at http://www.pdamd.com.
PDAJD.com, according to the site’s creators, is "the most comprehensive resource for legal-related PDA content on the Internet." I wouldn’t suggest disputing this point, as you might end up in court where these guys will almost certainly take you down. PDAJD.com was created to focus on the needs of members of the legal community, as far as PDA matters are concerned. The site’s homepage is pictured in Figure A.
.FIGPAIR A At PDAJD.com, you won’t find any lawyer jokes.
On the site, you’ll find content dealing specifically with legal issues. This content includes, "products that help keep you organized and informed, detailed reviews by other professionals, articles on how your colleagues are utilizing PDAs, and interactive features where you can talk with other users just like you."
PDAMD.com, meanwhile, is "the most comprehensive resource for medical-related PDA content on the Internet." There you will find "content dealing specifically with medical issues, including products that help keep you organized and informed, detailed reviews by other healthcare professionals, articles on how your colleagues are utilizing PDAs, and interactive features where you can talk with other users just like you."
