Other World Computing has debuted the new Mercury Elite-AL Pro Dual-Bay “Quad Interface” RAID solution. The Mercury Elite-AL Pro Dual-Bay “Quad Interface” features a high performance Oxford chipset with two SATA I/II hard drive bays for high-performance RAID storage of up to 3.0TB and fast transfer speeds of 300MB/s.

SanDisk has updated its solid-state drive modules for use in netbooks. The second-generation modules, dubbed the pSSD-P2 and pSSD-S2, are available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities to replace a standard 2.5-inch hard drive.

It only comes in basic black but, it has a rubberized sheath to protect it from scratches and comes with ArcSoft’s TotalMedia Backup software. The Expert UX and Apollo Pro UX external harddrives are expected to ship later this month.
