Advanced Micro Devices Inc and Intel Corp are expected to offer inexpensive, ultra-thin, laptops soon. The devices would be an inch or less in thickness and might cost only $500.

Bill Would Ban Unfair Data Plans, Even For Mobiles

U.S. Rep. Eric Massa (D-N.Y.), is proposing legislation to prohibit ISPs from raising their rates while their costs go down. The Broadband Fairness Act is aimed at prohibiting pay-by-the-byte pricing.
