Apparently Apple doesn’t like bad news. A thread on Apple’s support forums about Consumer Reports bad review of the iPhone 4 has been deleted.

Apple Says iPhone 4 Patch Won’t Fix Antenna Problem

It appears there are two parts to the iPhone 4 reception problem. One is a firmware issue, to be addressed by a patch, the second is a grounding issue due to contact with human skin.
