Nook Color gets official update

The Nook Color from Barnes & Noble will be getting an update to make it a real Android tablet. Update version 1.2 will turn the e-reader into an Android 2.2 device with access to an App Store.

Pepper.pk Launches Early Bird

Pepper.pk announced the launch of their native e-mail client for RIM’s Blackberry PlayBook. Called Early Bird, it’s written for the BlackBerry QNX operating system and unlike browser based email, runs locally on the PlayBook.

PhatWare Releases WritePad 5 for iPad

WritePad 5.0 now lets you synchronize WritePad documents with Evernote and upload documents to Google Docs as PDF or text. WritePad is available for iPads and iPhones through the Apple App Store.

Virgin Media Demos World’s Fastest Internet Service
