Android App Allows Web-Browsing Over SMS

Smozzy Beta, a free Android app developed by Jeff Donahue, lets you browse the web using SMS and MMS (text messaging) instead of transferring the data over a 3G connection. But, the speeds aren’t great, data is not encrypted, and your mobile provider might be able to shut it off without warning.

P2P lawyer: IP address not enough

If your ISP provides your IP addresses, the IP address can be resolved to your house. However, if you have more than one device using IP, all the devices would need to be searched before it could be determined who did a particular download. Which has further complicated a lawsuit involving copyrighted material.

Android ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ Coming in October or November?
