
OmniSky Corporation introduced OmniSky Oxygen, a comprehensive wireless technology platform designed to enable telecommunications carriers, online service providers, hardware manufacturers, and others to rapidly deploy next-generation wireless services to their customers.

Palm has announced the Palm OS reached a new milestone with the 10,000th third-party software application for Palm OS based handheld users–the Novell GroupWise 6 Web clipping application. The application is available from Palm, Inc.’s new “Software Connection” Web site, hosted by PalmGear.

TealPoint Software announced the release of TealMaster 1.40, designed to provide a standard way to safely enhance the functionality of the Palm through third-party add-on system extensions, commonly called “hacks.”
