On October 15, MasterCard International announced that it had released the MasterCard Global Service PDA Guide, an online downloadable version of the MasterCard Global Service international emergency phone list for PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants).
Knowing how popular Palm OS handhelds are among business travelers, I decided to select the MasterCard Global Service PDA Guide as PalmPower’s Enterprise Edition Product of the Month. This free, downloadable software is available at http://www.palmtoppublishing.com/mastercard/. The software is 27K in size and is powered by OnTap Technology (at http://www.ontaptech.com).

Another interesting feature of this service is that PDA and travel-related Web sites worldwide are invited to offer this MasterCard software directly from their own Web site. Companies using MasterCard as their corporate card of choice may want to consider offering this feature to their employees directly from the corporate Web site.
