TRADESHOW GUIDE

By Ashley Parsons

The fall events are coming up fast. If you didn't have time to plan a summer vacation, you could have a chance to redeem yourself by attending one of these hot mobile tradeshows in Pasadena, Las Vegas, Orlando, or Atlanta.

DEMOmobile 2000

DEMOmobile 2000 is the first show to start off the mobile conference fall launch. It will be held in Pasadena, CA at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Huntington.

DEMOmobile is just what it sounds like, a conference that combines on-stage demonstrations with the latest mobile computing products in the industry. Products featured at DEMOmobile are selected from hundreds of mobile computing vendors carefully evaluated by Executive Producers Chris Shipley and Jim Forbes from IDG Executive Forums. This conference is for entrepreneurs, press, venture capitalists, and corporate IT professionals interested in mobile computing technology and vendors.

DEMOmobile 2000 takes place September 6-8 in Pasadena, CA. For more information, visit http://www.demo.com/demo_conferences/demo_mobile.html.

Go Mobile 2000

Viva Las Vegas! If you haven't guessed, Go Mobile 2000 will be held in Las Vegas at the Bellagio Hotel. If Comdex is too much for you and you're specifically interested in mobile technology, this is the show for you. Like DEMOmobile, Go Mobile features on-stage demonstrations and exhibits from the top mobile computing vendors for IT professionals looking to obtain the knowledge to better acquire and deploy mobile computing technology. The Product Showcase is the place to get hands-on experience with the latest mobile products. The Go Mobile Showcase mixes a cocktail party with a tradeshow atmosphere, allowing vendors and IT professionals to interact one-on-one.

Go Mobile 2000 takes place from September 10-12 in Las Vegas. For more information, visit http://www.mobileinsights.com.

DCI's Summit on Wireless Computing

This is the first wireless show DCI is hosting. DCI has been known for its Sales Force Automation and Customer Relationship Management Conferences, but like many others, is jumping on the Mobile and Wireless bandwagon. The show will be held in sunny Orlando, FL at the Hyatt Regency. In addition to the exhibitions, there will be focused Wireless Case Study presentations from corporate end-users.

DCI's Summit on Wireless Computing takes place from September 12-14 in Orlando, FL. For more information, visit http://www.dci.com/brochure/wireorl.
