.TIP
Microsoft’s new browser is now available as a released product. It contains a number of new features and performance enhancements, including a faster JavaScript engine and support for HTML5.
It has a better address bar, a feature called Pinned Sites, which allow you to pin a site to your Windows 7 task bar, just like you’d pin an application or a folder, a more secure download manager, and better tabs.
So, should you download it? Our [[http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/14/internet-explorer-9-launches-tonight-weve-got-your-early-look/|friends at Engadget]] like it. ZDNet’s [[http://www.zdnet.com/blog/bott/internet-explorer-9-beta-review-microsoft-reinvents-the-browser/2430|Ed Bott seems to like it]]. We think it’s pretty slick.
