<p>Like robots? You're not alone. Wings Over The Rockies Air & Space Museum is right there with you.</p><p>From 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, the museum is featuring the cutting-edge technology of robotics. The event will showcase how robots are doing things that humans can't, such as exploring planets, snapping rare photos of solar systems and performing high-risk, precision-based surgeries. The event takes place in conjunction with National Robotics Week, and people will have the opportunity to meet with industry leaders including inventors, enthusiasts and roboticists.</p><p>The event includes a firsthand look at mini, remote-controlled drones and a Denver Bomb Squad robot. Officials from local robotics companies and non-profit organizations focusing on robotics Boosting Engineering Science and Technology (BEST), For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST), Computer Explorers, Robot Magazine, Colorado Robotics Association and the Smoky Hill Area Robotics Club will all be in attendance, providing information on how to get involved with robotics locally.</p><p>Robot enthusiasts, young and old, will have the opportunity to witness a fully-automated Ford Focus in action, courtesy of Lockheed Martin.
